As such, ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 29, Reflective Sounds will give its 5TH DNB PARTY IN THE BASEMENT OF THE FAMOUS INFAMOUS KITKATCLUB! With this event, we will drive forward the very first DnB series ever given at that naughty and notorious nightclub in Berlin.
THAT NIGHT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE AGAIN A SYNERGY BETWEEN THE BEAUTIFUL, BELOVED SOUNDS OF DNB AND THE FREE, FROLICSOME, AND FLAMBOYANT ATMOSPHERE KITKAT HAS TO OFFER. For this special event, please DRESS TO IMPRESS: Be kinky, fetish, elegant, glamorous, naked, colorful, sexy, or wild – the sky is the limit to your fantasy. Importantly, to keep up with the spirit and reputation this extraordinary location is known for, CASUAL WEAR MAY BE REJECTED AT THE DOOR. For this event, we will also have our second newcomer DJ contest! The winner of this contest will have the opportunity to play the opening set at our party. Thus, if you are a talented DnB rookie and would like to play at our event, please send a 30-min mix to reflectivesoundsberlin@gmail.com. Deadline is February 1, 23:59 Berlin time. ART YARD IN SALON ROUGE
Further beautiful treats and treasures, you can find in the Art Yard being built up in KitKat’s Salon Rouge again. Here, you will be offered luminescent BODY PAINTING, turning your body into colorful and shimmering pictures, if you wish. Also, an ART EXHIBITION will be presented in Salon Rouge again. Be curious and keep your eyes peeled for more info on the artist and style.
Also, if you want to get a POLAROID OF YOURSELVES AS A KEEPSAKE OF THE NIGHT, please find Jana ( @marie.jay.6.5 ) in our Art Yard or around. She will be happy to make pics from and for you – thereby assuring that no one else is caught on camera.

NO PHONE, NO CAMERA POLICY
We want you to feel 100% safe and free. Therefore, we will ask you to leave your phone and camera in the cloakroom. You won’t be charged for that.
Our professional photo- and videograph Tavid (https://www.instagram.com/dark.zenith/) will make some footage of the event, though. We guarantee that none of our guests will be depicted in a recognizable, apparent way, if not explicitly asked for or given permission. So please express yourself as wildly as you wish.

If you witness disrespectful behavior, please IMMEDIATELY reach out to the Reflective Sounds crew, the KitKat crew, or the securities. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR RACISM, SEXISM, HOMOPHOBIA, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF DISCRIMINATION!
We will also have an AWARENESS TEAM on site, monitoring the party. They will be wearing reflector vests. Please also approach them if help is needed.

INFORMATION NEWCOMER DJ CONTEST
- The winner of our second newcomer DJ contest will play a 60-min opening set at our party.
- If you would like to participate, please send a 30-min mix THAT HAS FRESHLY BEEN RECORDED FOR THIS CONTEST to reflectivesoundsberlin@gmail.com. Deadline is February 1, 23:59 Berlin time.
- The winner will be announced on February 15.
- The jury consists of the Reflective Sounds heads Bi Rootcreek, Dirty Plates, and Skulder & Mully. Sets will be evaluated independently as well as conjointly in several steps from all jury members.
- EVALUATION CRITERIA are:
- GENRE: Does the DnB genre presented in the mix fit the party and set time?
- TRACK SELECTION: Are tracks well-selected and put together in a sound way?
- MIXING SKILLS: How clean are the transitions?
- STYLE: How advanced does the DJ play with the tracks and technical equipment, e.g. scratching, cutting?
- IMPORTANT: It’s a newcomer contest, with which we would like to provide a platform for newbies emerging on the DnB horizon. Thus, experienced DJs (e. g., several years of performance experience and/or releases in the past) will not be considered for the contest.
- Past winners of our newcomer DJ contest are not eligible to participate.
