This March will mark a special milestone for deviate as we celebrate 7 years in this bass promoter game. It also feels not only important but absolutely necessary to mention that we are living in a time where diversity, gender equality and artistic freedoms are under attack by hateful agendas worldwide. In the face of such hate and anger it is easy to feel overwhelmed and hopeless. But now is not the time to give up. deviate’s reason for existence remains strong. With renewed focus and dedicated energy, we will continue to be a platform and a voice that promotes and represents diversity in our lineups and in the bass music scene as a whole. It’s our hope that this vibe of inclusion and acceptance can spread from the safe space of our beloved dance-floor to each and every raver, their families, their friends and beyond.

So with this in mind, we didn’t hold any punches on this birthday’s lineup. Going in with some very special guests from the local crew and afar. Our bass home in box 2 will roll with deep, rootsy dubstep through to deadly jungle and all styles of vibey breakbeat bass tangents in between. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our first event this year - let’s do this. One love deviators!
